How to Make Day Face Cream
What is a Day Face Cream
A day face cream is a type of facial moisturizer that is specifically formulated to be used during the day. It is designed to hydrate and nourish the skin, while also protecting it from environmental stressors such as pollution, UV radiation, and free radicals.
Day face creams typically contain a combination of emollients, humectants, and occlusives to help hydrate the skin and prevent moisture loss. They may also contain ingredients such as antioxidants, peptides, and vitamins, which help to protect the skin from damage and promote healthy skin function.
Many day face creams also contain sunscreen to protect the skin from harmful UV rays. The American Academy of Dermatology recommends using a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher to protect against both UVA and UVB rays.
Day face creams are often formulated to be lightweight and fast-absorbing, so they can be worn comfortably under makeup. They may also be available in different formulations to suit different skin types, such as oily, dry, or combination skin.
Using a day’s face cream regularly can help to maintain the skin’s hydration levels, protect against environmental damage, and promote a healthy, radiant complexion.
