- Wash and peel the skin of your carrots.
- Grate your carrots with a hand grater.
- Place the grated carrots in a clean pot.
- Pour in any oil of your choice (olive oil or coconut oil.)
- Put your pot on fire on low heat for 50minutes to an hour.
- When the infusion process is completed, pour the carrots and oil mixture through a strainer and strain to separate the oil from the carrot chaff
- Then, your carrot oil is ready.
If stored properly, your carrot oil can last up to 6-8months.
