INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup of organic cocoa butter
- 1/2 cup of mango butter
- 1/2 cup of coconut oil
- 1/2 cup of jojoba oil
- 1-2 teaspoons of peppermint essential oil
- 2 teaspoons of vitamin E
- 2 teaspoons of pure cocoa powder
DIRECTIONS
Prepare an ice bath by filling a large bowl with ice and putting a small bowl inside.
Inside the smaller bowl (the bowl should be able to take 4 to 5 cups of liquid)
Using a double boiler, melt the cocoa butter and mango butter over a low heat
Add coconut oil and melt until completely melted Remove cocoa butter/coconut oil from the heat
Measure 5 teaspoons of cocoa powder into a small bowl and gradually add 2 tablespoons of jojoba oil/olive oil and mix
Then add it to the cocoa butter/coconut oil mixture and mix properly Place the mixture into the chilled bowl (it should be resting over the ice or placed inside the fridge)
Remove from the ice and stir it until a stiff paste is formed (if after a few minutes, it is still not thick to the way you want then put it back on the ice and whip/stir it while the bowl is in the ice.
Then bring it down and allow it to cool then pour it into containers
