Ingredients

  • 1 green tea bag
  • 1 chamomile tea bag (optional)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • ½ tsp witch hazel
  • 2 drops lavender essential oil

Directions:

  1. Place one chamomile tea bag and one green tea bag in a pot containing one cup of boiling water.
  2. Steep for 15 minutes.
  3. Let it cool completely.
  4. Add ½ tsp witch hazel and 2 drops of lavender essential oil into the chamomile green tea toner
  5. Stir well to combine and your chamomile and green tea toner are ready!

To use, spray it all over your face at a distance of 6-12 inches with your eyes closed. When the toner dries up, apply a pea-sized amount of your usual moisturizer or shea butter.

In addition to its antioxidant properties, green tea is also believed to have astringent properties, which can help to tighten and firm the skin. Green tea toner may be used to help minimize the appearance of pores, while also helping to remove any residual impurities or makeup that may have been missed during the cleansing process.

Green tea toner can be purchased at most beauty supply stores and online retailers. When choosing a product, look for toners that contain high-quality, organic green tea, as well as other natural ingredients that can help to soothe and nourish the skin, such as aloe vera, chamomile, and cucumber. It is also important to patch-test the toner on a small area of skin before using it all over, to ensure that you do not have an allergic reaction.
